As the diocesan Catholic High School for the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma, the mission of Bishop Kelley is to carry on the teaching ministry of Jesus Christ by providing a Catholic, Lasallian education that develops students whose hearts and minds are prepared for a purposeful life. As a Life Preparatory School, the academic rigor pushes each student to their highest potential by offering over 190 course that meet students where they are and pushes them toward excellence.
In addition to faith and academics there are so many ways our students can find their place for meaningful engagement with peers and their other interests. There is indeed a place for everyone in the Comet family.

Freshman
Once we have met our student enrollment capacity, accepted applicants will be added to our waiting pool.
Transfer
Prospective transfer student applicants will interview with the Bishop Kelley Admissions Committee and will be required to take a Math placement test.
International
All International Students who wish to be considered for admissions to Bishop Kelley High School must complete and submit the required Documents.
Comet for a Day: Shadow Visits for Current 8th Graders & Transfer Students
The shadow visit is a wonderful way for your student to immerse themselves at Bishop Kelley for the day. We will match them with a current student who shares the same interests. Students will have the opportunity to attend classes, tour our campus and learn firsthand what it means to be a Comet. You may begin scheduling shadow visits beginning September 11, 2024. Campus Tours
Visiting the Bishop Kelley campus is a must when families are deciding where to attend high school. Walking through the halls of Bishop Kelley will give you a sense of what life is like to be a Comet. To schedule a tour please email Dean of Admissions, Patti Bush at pbush@bishopkelley.org.
Placement Test Information
Placement Tests required only for incoming freshmen.
Bishop Kelley High School administers the HSPT (High School Placement Test) in order to determine the proper placement of incoming freshmen to Bishop Kelley. The HSPT provides measures in the major skill areas of Reading, Mathematics, Language, and Science, as well as verbal and quantitative cognitive skills. Since the test is standardized at the same time with a national population of entering high school students, the end results are directly comparable on a national level as well as a local level for all test areas.

When?
Applicants will take their placement test on one of the following dates:
- November 2, 2024
- January 11, 2025
- By appointment after January 11, 2025
Students take the HSPT only once.

Where?
The HSPT will be administered in the main building of Bishop Kelley High School.

Testing time
Students should arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. The test will last until approximately 12:15 p.m. Parents are invited to attend a question-and-answer session from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. located in the Main Building – Student Commons.

What to bring?
Please bring two sharpened #2 pencils, a small healthy snack and/or a bottled water. Students will not be allowed to use calculators on the Math portion of the test.
Student Registration
Submit an online application and choose the HSPT testing date on the application.
The cost of the test is included in the application fee of $50.
Join us for an open house
September 22, 2024
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Registration for Open House opens on August 26, 2024. To register to attend, create an account* and complete the Open House Registration form. Please choose the 25-26 School Year.
Online registration will close at noon on September 20, 2024. Walk up registration will be available at the check-in table on Sunday, September 23 beginning at 2:00 PM.
*You must create an account to complete any BK Admission Forms. This includes applications, Open House, shadow visits, and campus tours.
