NEW!

The Brian Arenson

Endowed Chair for Science

After teaching science at Bishop Kelley from 1982 to 2024, Mr. Brian Arenson has decided to retire. While current and future Bishop Kelley students will miss the opportunity to learn from Mr. Arenson, we as a school community celebrate the many lives he has impacted throughout his 42 years at BKHS. He has taught over 5,500 students during this time!

Hundreds of these students have utilized their BK science education to become physicians, physical therapists, PAs, Ph.Ds in medicine, engineers, and other science-

related professionals.

Bishop Kelley's First Faculty Chair Endowment!

To appropriately honor Brian Arenson’s dedication to teaching at Bishop Kelley, the school is establishing its first-ever endowed chair. BK’s goal is to raise $1.6M to go into a new endowment. Once fully funded, this endowment will generate annual earnings that will provide the salary and benefits for the current holder of the Brian Arenson Endowed Chair for Science.

This endowment, while honoring Mr. Arenson’s legacy, provides funds to the school, helping to lower operating costs; in turn, this endowment will help to keep tuition increases to a minimum, thus making Bishop Kelley affordable to more families with limited ability to access a Catholic, Lasallian education.
