Facility Use
The primary function of our buildings and facilities at Bishop Kelley High School (BKHS) is to enhance the quality of education for all students. Our classrooms and support facilities offer the best opportunity for both religious and educational success. BHS donors and capital campaigns continually donate and raise money to ensure that our campus is able to grow and our buildings can be maintained and updated. No tuition dollars are used in the growth, updating/renovation or maintaining of our campus and facilities. We are proud to have some of the finest private school facilities in the country.
We welcome the rental and/or use of our buildings and facilities by outside groups. BKHS facilities can accommodate various community and organizational events.
Outside groups are assessed a user fee for rental of all facilities, see table below for rates. The Facilities Department in conjunction with Student Activities and the Finance Office maintains a calendar of events, coordinates scheduling, management, and supervision, as well as appropriate custodial and maintenance services.
Potential users of BKHS facilities will be provided information regarding policies, procedures, and fees and are expected to comply with all policies and procedures and promptly pay for spaces used.
When renting a Bishop Kelley Facility, the lessee hereby agrees to comply with the rules and regulations of the Bishop Kelley Board of Directors governing the use of such buildings and agree to be responsible for any damages that may occur to the building or equipment during such use and understand that any charges are to be paid in advance or upon presentation of an invoice. The lessee also understands that any special services or accommodations required to comply with Section 504 and Title II of the ADA for the use of BKHS facilities by any participants, officials, spectators, volunteers, or employees of the lessee will be the full responsibility of the lessee. Outside vendors (for example: inflatable companies, food trucks, etc) will need to provide insurance to the Facilities Director showing that Bishop Kelley High School is listed as an additional insured party.
