Fr. O’Brien Leaves BK for New Appointment in December

Father Brian O’Brien, President of Bishop Kelley High School, has been appointed by Bishop David Konderla to be Pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater. His last day serving the Bishop Kelley community will be December 21, 2017.

Bishop Kelley’s New Principal Has Arrived

Jim Franz has relocated to Tulsa, and has officially begun his position as principal of Bishop Kelley High School.

Formerly the principal at Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic High School in Tyler, TX for 19 years, Franz was named to his new position at a press conference in April. Faculty, students, the media and the BK community were present to welcome this new addition to our school. Bishop David Konderla said of Franz’s hiring, “May God bless him as he ministers among us.”

Dozens of Siblings on Same Team Sport at Bishop Kelley

There are over 65 groups of siblings at Bishop Kelley that play sports. Thirty-eight of these pairs play the same sport, many on the same team.

Bishop Kelley Welcomes Two New Priests Next Year

Two new priests will be joining the Bishop Kelley community next school year. Soon-to-be Fathers Duy Nguyen and David Webb will be ordained on May 27th at Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa. 

Jim Franz Named Bishop Kelley’s New Principal

Jim Franz, who has been principal for the past 19 years at Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic High School in Tyler, TX has been named the new principal of Bishop Kelley High School.  A graduate of Union High School in Tulsa, OK, Franz was chosen from a number of candidates to lead and support Bishop Kelley’s faculty, staff, and students.

Park in the main parking lot in front of the cafeteria and hop over to the Chapel area for the hunt.
