Spirit Store Attendant - STUDENTS ONLY

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Position Summary:

Responsible for the daily duties of the Spirit Store including but not limited to: customer service,

cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking and facility upkeep. Responsible for the daily duties

of the Spirit Store, receiving, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking and

facility upkeep.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


1. Sales / Customer Service

  • Operate cash register, accepting cash, credit or financial aid    payments
  • Pick, process and pack for pickup online orders

2. Cash handling

  • Accurate count of startup and ending monies.
  • Accurate change counting.
  • Accurate sales transactions.

3. Inventory control

  • Complete weekly inventory sheets.
  • Daily restocking of merchandise.

4. Policy and Procedures

  • Adhere to all BK policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policies and procedures with customers when needed.

5. Facility Upkeep

  • Daily and continuous cleaning of common areas.
  • Daily trash removal.

6. Any other related duty as assigned by the Retail Sales Manager


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications:

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good math skills, good work ethic,

ability to lift 30-50 pounds and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a positive attitude and a sense of

pride and accomplishment with one’s work.


Work Schedules:

Work hours mostly after school from 3:30 – 5:30 and also some by scheduled events or programs, which might include

isolated weekend/non-school days.
