Position Overview - High School Chemistry Teacher

Job Description:  This person will be responsible for full time teaching of Science classes.

Job Requirements: 

• Willingness to understand and commit to the mission of Bishop Kelley High School as a Diocesan Catholic institution.   
• Ability to present material in a variety of formats to meet the needs of diverse learners 
• Ability to integrate technology in the classroom 
• Ability to reach for student success 
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of Science  
• Prefer prior teaching experience at the high school level
• Prior coaching at the high school level a plus
• Effective communication skills 
• Must be cleared through the Virtus Background Check (Done by Bishop Kelley) 

Supervisor:  Principal, Department Chair and Athletic Director if pursuing coaching opportunities.  

Salary:  Compensation is based upon years of teaching experience and educational degree(s).  Coaching role(s) will be compensated through a stipend.  Benefits apply as a regular teacher.
