Boys Swimming Wins Second State Title

The boy's swimming team won their second 5A state title in February. This is both the second overall and consecutive title for the team.

Jack Callan set the state records in the 200 and 400 free relays. Paul Hunt placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke. Sam Duda plaved 3rd in the 200 free and 2nd in the 500 free. Tyler Hoang placed 2nd in the 200 individual medley and 3rd in the 100 butterfly. Ian Wilson placed 3rd in both the 50 and 100 free. Preston Hoang placed 2nd in the 100 free. The BK boys had 14 top-five finishes at the state meet.

Boys Swimming Wins 1st Ever State Title

The boys swimming team took home the 2019 5A state title, the first ever swim championship in Bishop Kelley history.

The Comets earned 407 points at the state meet, leading the 2nd place Altus team by over a hundred points.

"It felt so good [to win]," said Head Coach Ellen Glasgow. "I am really proud of our swimmers. They were very motivated to make up for last year."

Comets Will Start 2018-2019 Season on New Turf

The 2018-2019 Comet student-athletes will be playing on a brand-new turf this fall.
