Freshman High School Essentials Meeting

Now that the class of 2021 is getting settled in to freshman year, it’s time to start thinking ahead and to begin forming a plan for the rest of high school and beyond. The counselors would like to invite freshman students and their parents to attend a High School Essentials meeting to learn about Bishop Kelley graduation requirements and the paths to complete them. We will look at how classes fit together over the four years of high school, and how that affects college admissions goals as well.

We will begin this process with a group meeting. If you would like to discuss any individual issues or goals afterward, counselors will be happy to set a time to meet one on one. We will have three evening meetings October 16th, 17th, and 18th. These will begin at 7 PM in the STC auditorium. We would like to ask that students with last names A-G attend the 16th, H-O the 17th, and P-Z the 18th.

If you cannot attend on your assigned night you are welcome to attend on one of the other two nights or during a midday meeting. There will be two opportunities to meet during the school day on October 17th and 18th. These will begin at 11 AM in the MQP. Because of space they will be limited to 25 families. You can sign up for a slot by clicking the links below. Know that if you sign up to attend during the day we will be sending a pass for your student to leave class and join us.
